What are you interested in?

We have just expanded our 文科 Associate of Arts degree to include areas of concentration.  This flexibility aligns with students exploring various academic pathways in their first two years of college. 

The Associate of Arts in 文科 aspires to create a community of inspired learners by offering challenging courses designed to cultivate scholarly inquiry, social responsibility and academic integrity. 文科 faculty create a rigorous academic environment, characterized by mutual respect and collegiality, in which students are encouraged to discover their true potential and purpose.

The goal of the 文科 program is to engage students in study across multiple disciplines with the goal of cultivating a broad knowledge base and strong skill set that prepares students for the workforce or continued study towards a bachelor’s degree. Through study in the arts, 人文学科, 社会科学, mathematics and sciences, students learn to think critically, communicate in multiple mediums, 进行研究, 解决复杂问题, demonstrate 道德 reasoning and system thinking, and grow as globally responsible citizens.
